Alumni Dyt. Merve Dilara Kaya and Dyt. Gülcan Sefa participated as speakers, sharing their experiences from their student years and the professional paths they have followed since graduation. The seminar was moderated by Asst. Prof. Hande Nur Onur Öztürk, Vice Chair of the Department.
During the event, the alumni speakers reflected on their time as students and discussed the professional development they experienced after entering the workforce. They highlighted their career journeys ranging from clinical dietetics to roles in the private sector. They also briefly addressed the connection between nutrition and psychology, emphasizing the importance of holistic approaches in dietetic practice.
Later in the program, Asst. Prof. Abdullah Yüksel Barut, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, encouraged students to take full advantage of the academic resources offered by the university and emphasized the role of educational opportunities in shaping successful career paths.
At the close of the seminar, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Assoc. Prof. Hatice Merve Bayram, extended her gratitude to both the speakers and attendees. The event provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with alumni and gain inspiration from real-world professional experiences.
