Professionals in this field play an active role in managing nutrition and treatment processes for conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases.
Community nutrition promotes healthy eating habits at a societal level and enhances health outcomes. Graduates of the nutrition and dietetics department can pursue various career opportunities such as nutrition counselor, clinical dietitian, community nutrition specialist, nutrition educator, researcher, or educator in healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics), schools, sports and fitness centers, wellness centers, private nutrition counseling offices, or public health organizations.

To work in the field of nutrition and dietetics, it is important to have competencies such as proficiency in scientific knowledge, skills in nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy planning, strong communication abilities, understanding individual and societal nutrition needs, adherence to ethical principles, and openness to continuous learning and professional development.
- Do you offer a double major or ERASMUS+ opportunity in your department?
Our students with a GPA of 2.90 or above on a 4.00 scale and who fall within the top 20% of their undergraduate or associate degree program can start a second major program free of charge. Students who successfully complete the second major program graduate with two bachelor's degrees.
Our students can also benefit from study and internship mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ program at universities we have agreements with.
