Dear Students,
As part of the event organized in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Gelişim University and the IGU Nutrition and Dietetics Student Club, a technical visit to the Istanbul Public Bread Factory was held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the bread production process on-site. They examined all stages of production in detail, from flour processing to the baking stage, and received information from the officials about hygiene practices, quality control, and energy efficiency measures. This technical visit enabled students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, gain insight into industrial production processes, and strengthen their professional competencies.
