‘’Winning in sports at any expense is not justifiable!"
Evaluating the use of stimulants in sports, Istanbul Gelisim University School of Physical Education and Sports Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Soyal emphasized that the understanding of "Everything is permissible to win" should be abandoned for lasting success in sports.
The doping allegations cover the most important agenda of the world of sports in recent days. Despite of strict measures so taken, it has been not possible somehow to preclude the doping cases. The world of sports feels substantially disturbed by such cases where the names of very famous athletes (sportsmen/women), known with their successes, have involved in, and been disqualified from tournaments and been subject to measures of collection of awarded medal(s) back.
