What is the Double Major Program (ÇAP)?
The Double Major Program is a second undergraduate or associate degree program that allows students enrolled in a major undergraduate/associate degree program to earn a diploma from another undergraduate/associate degree program in a related field.

Istanbul Gelişim University offers a free double major opportunity to students who meet the application requirements and secure a quota in the program.
Application Requirements for the Double Major Program
Students can apply to undergraduate major programs at the earliest at the beginning of the third semester and at the latest by the beginning of the fifth semester in four-year programs.For associate degree major programs, students can apply at the earliest at the beginning of the second semester and at the latest by the beginning of the third semester.Students must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.90 out of 4.00 and rank within the top 20% of their major program’s class in terms of success.To apply for the double major program, students must have successfully completed all credited courses in their major program up to the application semester without any disciplinary penalties.
How Are Double Major Program Quotas Determined?
The quotas for the double major program are determined by the University Senate and cannot be less than 20% of the initial quotas for the relevant class of the programs eligible for application.
