Nowadays, the need for qualified health personnel has continued to increase. The importance given to health has increased even more due to the global pandemic process we have experienced recently. For this reason, there is a need for healthcare professionals who are open to improvement, committed to ethical values, competent, knowledgeable and equipped in their profession.
Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Health Sciences is an educational institution that applies world-class education and training to the health sector that develops globally and whose needs are increasing, is open to scientific and technological developments, can conduct and develop research, adhere to moral and ethical values, think analytically and critically, renew and develop, we aim to raise individuals with high communication skills.
Our institution, which was established as a School in the 2012-2013 Academic Year and transformed into a Faculty in 2020, today, as a prestigious institution continuing its education activities with 17 departments, 5 percent of which provide 100% English education, trains experts in various branches in the health sector.
In line with the goals we set as the Faculty of Health Sciences, we equip our students with the knowledge and skills to gain professional expertise in all our departments with our qualified academic staff and we provide our students with appropriate working environments.
As the University with the most internationally accredited programs in our country, 13 departments that have graduated from our Faculty are accredited by AHPGS (Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences), an international accreditation organization that is a member of the European Quality Assurance Association. Our University is among the top 500 universities in Europe in the "World University Rankings: Europe 2024" ranking, ranks 21st in the "QS Europe-West Asia" category, and ranks 74th among the top 100 universities in the "Citations Per Article" category. ; It ranks 2nd in the "Europe-West Asia" category.
In these departments of international quality, with the education, we provide with our elite academicians at national and international level, our graduates receive education that can work not only in our country but also all over the world.
