 Warning from the expert: Keeping fruits and vegetables in vinegar-added water for a certain period of time is not sufficient to eliminate viruses!


The Academic Member Dr. Başak Gökçe Çöl from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Istanbul Gelisim University made a warning as follows: ‘’ Keeping fruits and vegetables in vinegar-added water for a certain period of time does not kill viruses entirely. Therefore, wash all of your vegetables and fruits under running water or keep them in carbonated water for a certain period of time.
