Department of Nursing (English) Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Büyükdoğan gave his speech in line with his professional and clinical experiences at the conference. Büyükdoğan explained the history and practical areas of plastic surgery. In addition, Büyükdoğan touched upon the distinction between aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in his conference presentation. The examples of reconstructive surgery applied to regain the function of the parts of the body that lost their shape and function were shared with the students.
The number of international students of Istanbul Gelisim University was quite high at the conference, which was held in English. Büyükdoğan's interactive presentation with students was highly appreciated.
At the end of the event, students' questions about, one of the most popular medical fields, plastic surgery were answered. Head of Nursing (English) Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Funda Karaman, presented his plaque to Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Büyükdoğan.
