Social Work Department Welcomed Its New Students
The program began with a presentation by the Head of the Department of Social Work,
Prof. Dr. İsmet Galip YOLCUOĞLU. In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Yolcuoğlu shared the vision and mission of the university and the department, the academic structure, and the key points students should pay attention to during their university journey.
Following this,
Research Assistant Fatma Türkan ÖZIRMAK informed students about academic procedures, regulations, the advisory system, course processes, examinations and evaluation methods, university digital platforms, student clubs, internships, and practical courses.
Research Assistant Onur Zeki ANILGAN provided further information on the current fundamental rules applicable to undergraduate students.
Erasmus Opportunities Introduced
The Department’s Erasmus Coordinator,
Research Assistant Aslıhan Kübra SAKARYA, introduced the Erasmus+ exchange program, explaining application procedures, study abroad, and internship opportunities. Students also had the chance to ask questions regarding international experience opportunities.
Program Concluded with Survey and Group Photo
At the end of the program, students asked their questions regarding the orientation process and completed the satisfaction survey. The event concluded with a group photo taken together with all participants, marking a memorable start to the new academic year.
