"The Sensory Integration in Physiotherapy"

"The Sensory Integration in Physiotherapy" event was held on Thursday, March 11 within the scope of "Non-Stop FTR Fest" organized by Istanbul Gelişim University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (TR and EN) Departments  was held with the participation of Dr. Pt.Aymen BALIKÇI.
Moderator Alihan İrken and Dr. Pt.. Aymen Balıkçı started with the speech in which the purpose of the conference . Then  Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı briefly talked about himself and how he chose his physiotherapist profession.

Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı stated that he met with "Sensory Integration" during his internship during his university years and that he did his master's in "Physiology" after his undergraduate education was completed. Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı has scientifically defined the definition of Sensory Integration Therapy . Then Aymen Balıkçı talked about Sensory Integration Therapy in case of physiotherapy and rehabilitation and occupational therapy departments.

Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı mentioned that he went to England for Sensory Integration Therapy training and received trainings there for a long time. Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı explained his theorem named “HEP” in detail. then Aymen Balıkçı explained “HEP” by his studies in the clinic with an example with a video.
Emphasizing the development of physiotherapists in scientific tests, Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı stated that these missing areas in the physiotherapy profession were filled by other professional groups.
At the end of the event,  Dr. Pt. Aymen Balıkçı ended the event by accepting  thanks and best wishes
