Cancer Week Panel

On March 29, "Cancer Week Panel" was held with the participation of IGU Faculty of Health Sciences faculty members. Under the name of "Multidisciplinary Approaches to Cancer", different approaches to cancer from the perspective of different disciplines were discussed. First, Asst.Prof. Turgay Dağtekin talked about breast cancer and surgery. Then Lecturer Mustafa Ferit Akkurt took the floor and talked about cancer lymphedema issues. Then Lecturer Cagil Erturk appeared on the stage. She explained the fascial release techniques in cancer. Afterwards, Res. Asst Selen Aydöner appeared on the stage. She talked about cancer and occupational therapy approaches. Later, Res. Asst. Buse Saygın took the floor. She talked about cancer and nursing approaches. Finally, Lecturer Zeynep Şeyda Tut took the floor and talked about the role of nutrition in cancer. The panel ended after the questions of the participants were answered.
