The Occupational Therapy Department, along with the Occupational Therapy and Social Rehabilitation Club students and Occupational Therapy class representatives, organized a booth where sensory therapy equipment used in occupational therapy, cognitive skill supportive games, and activities targeting various fine motor skills were demonstrated on participants. Occupational therapy is a prominent topic during this important week because it plays a significant role in improving the quality of life, supporting independence, and enabling individuals to perform daily activities. Occupational therapists use various strategies and tools to facilitate the daily lives of individuals facing physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges. This therapy enhances individuals' independence, self-confidence, and quality of life, thus enabling people with disabilities to participate more actively and productively in society. Therefore, World Disability Week provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of occupational therapy and increase support for disabled individuals' inclusion in society.
