The Academic Member Dr. Aysun Kaya Deniz from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema of the Faculty of the Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), who said that it was possible for any individual having entered in the social media for good time as a consequence of advancing technologies and updating to have knowledge about a new product and show a buying behaviour, indicated: ‘’Making shopping at our current time has turned into an act of satisfying fake requirements, occurred on the individual through the effect of social media, rather than an act, made for the satisfaction of basic needs.’’ indicated that the social media was a kind of consumption contest, which encouraged the individuals for consumption and had no finishing line.
