Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) paid a technical visit to ERMAKSAN, a leading company in the production of embedded and laser chips in Bursa on Thursday, July 4, 2024. At the meeting attended by ERMAKSAN Board Member and General Manager Ahmet Özkayan, a presentation was made about the technical activities carried out within IGU TTO.
Jet Dron and VTOL UAV projects attracted attention
In the meeting where the activities and projects of IGU TTO were conveyed, it was evaluated that industry and university cooperation studies could be carried out between the two institutions. Following the presentation of the company capabilities and defense industry activities carried out by ERMEKSAN, workshop visits on OptoElectronic capabilities were held. During the meeting, ERMAKSAN Board Member and General Manager Ahmet Özkayan stated that especially Jet Drone and 3D mapping VTOL UAVs, which are among the projects carried out at TTO, can be produced at ERMAKSAN.
