Vocational Education Support from Istanbul Gelisim University Nursing Club with Peer Solidarity
Istanbul Gelisim University Nursing Club organised a meaningful event that encourages knowledge and experience sharing among students.
In the event held in the Nursing Laboratory; fourth year nursing students, Assist. Prof. Aydın NART and Assist. Prof. Süreyya TÜRK ÖĞÜN guided second year students in manual blood pressure measurement, intramuscular, subcutaneous and intradermal injection techniques and intravenous catheter applications.
This practical training, which took place under the supervision of faculty members, reinforced a strong peer solidarity among students and enabled the transformation of theoretical knowledge into practical skills. At the event, Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Neşe KISKAÇ and Head of Nursing Department Assist. Prof. Mahrukh RASHIDI also accompanied the students with their support.
At the end of the event, the contributions of this study, which aims to develop basic skills related to the nursing profession and increase solidarity among students, to vocational education were emphasised once again. Istanbul Gelisim University Nursing Club stated that it will continue to support student development with similar activities.
