Venus Kindergarten Teachers were given ‘First Aid in Emergency Situations’ Training
A training on ‘First Aid in Emergency Situations’ was organised for teachers at Venus Kindergarten Conference Hall. Istanbul Gelisim University Nursing Department faculty members Asisst. Prof. Aydın Nart and Asisst. Prof. Meltem Aslan gave a comprehensive training to teachers about the correct intervention methods in emergencies.
In the training, the importance of first aid was emphasised and information was given on possible emergency scenarios that may be encountered at school. Asisst. Prof. Aydın Nart and Asisst. Prof. Meltem Aslan provided the teachers with theoretical and practical information on how to intervene quickly and effectively in cases such as accidents, cuts, sprains, burns and respiratory problems.
Participants learnt about the basic principles of first aid, as well as the importance of acting with composure and taking the right steps in an emergency. At the end of the training, teachers shared their experiences by asking questions about the techniques they can apply in emergencies.
The event was considered as an important step for teachers to better protect the health and safety of children in the school environment.
