Asst. Prof. Mahruk RASHIDI stated, "Nursing is built not only on scientific knowledge and practical skills but also on a human-centered approach and ethical values. Therefore, it is crucial for young people pursuing nursing education to develop both technical and humane aspects."
Highlighting the advantages offered by Istanbul Gelişim University's nursing department, Asst. Prof. Mahruk RASHIDI mentioned a conducive learning environment distinguished by modern laboratory facilities and particularly emphasized opportunities such as the Double Major Program (ÇAP), Erasmus exchange programs, and practical experience for students. "Our university not only provides theoretical knowledge but also offers students the chance to gain practical experience. Through the Double Major Program, students can specialize in another field of interest, while Erasmus offers the opportunity to study abroad and experience different cultures. Our laboratory facilities provide modern resources for students to apply their theoretical knowledge into practice," she explained.
Additionally, Asst. Prof. Mahruk RASHIDI discussed job opportunities for nursing graduates, noting, "The healthcare sector is a continuously growing and evolving field. Nursing graduates are employed in a wide range of settings including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and even private healthcare providers. Moreover, there are postgraduate opportunities in nursing specialization, master's, and doctoral programs."
