Managing Time So You Don't Say "I Wish I Had More Time"

Time is constantly flowing, its only indicator is hours. It is not possible to stop, slow down or rewind time. However, we can grasp the value of time and control how we can use it most efficiently.

Time is one of the few things in the world that we cannot produce, but its importance is not understood by many. Whereas, time is an invaluable resource. It flows continuously, cannot be collected, stored or repeated. Therefore, there is nothing more important for people than learning how to manage time effectively.

Time management means that individuals use every minute they have efficiently and effectively for their purposes. The issue of managing time correctly has emerged with the need of people to use time more efficiently and has been discussed since the 1970s.

However, people cannot adequately perceive the importance of the time they have and cannot manage time well. For this reason, almost everyone complains that they do not have enough time, that they do not have time for anything.

So, how can we turn the time that is beyond our control to our advantage?

Constantly ask yourself , "How can I make the best use of my time right now?".  Avoid the thought “No matter what I do, I won't have enough time!”. Set goals. Have reasonable expectations (and remember that no one is perfect). Focus your energy on the most important things first. Don't procrastinate (never put off until tomorrow what you can do today). Break a big job into smaller parts. Learn to say "no" to those who steal your time.

The condition of using time effectively and efficiently is its good management. Do not forget that if we manage time, which is an extremely important resource, correctly; our productivity will increase, our stress will decrease, our self-confidence will increase and it will be easier for us to reach our goals!

Franklin “Do you like life?” he asked and continued, “Then, don't waste your time. Because time is the main ingredient of life.”
