An event called "Evaluation of Financial Reports in Health Institutions" was held on December 7, 2021 by the Department of Health Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Gelisim University. Aşkı Fettah Aydın, who participated in the event as a speaker, has been working in the health sector for more than 20 years, and with his experience in health information systems, he briefed the students about the hospital automation system used in health institutions and the financial reports in the system.
Aşkı Fettah Aydın explained that the process of recording, invoicing, reporting and monitoring of services provided in health institutions is provided through hospital automation programs, and gave examples through an automation program.
Aşkı Fettah Aydın explained that health managers have an important role in following, examining and evaluating financial reports meticulously, and that all transactions made by employees in the automation system can be followed. He stated that this transparency is important in order not to make mistakes in the financial management process in health institutions.
He ended his presentation by giving advice to the Health Manager candidates on medical accounting, financial reporting and learning the process in the hospital automation system in health institutions.The event ended with the Head of Health Management Department Gülay Tamer presenting his plaquet to Aşkı Fettah Aydın and thanking him for his presentation and the important information he shared.
