The event, moderated by Lecturer Buse KERİGAN and aiming to bring together students and Child Development Specialists working in various institutions, was attended and contibuted by Child Development Department Head Asst. Prof. Nurten ELKİN, Prof. Dr. Nefise Semra ERKAN, Lecturer Bedriye ÇELİK KANCA, Research Assistant Hatice Zelal BİNGÖL, Research Assistant Rabia Ceren ATEŞ, Research Assistant Şebnem ÇELİK. The event started with the opening speech of Asst. Prof. Nurten ELKİN.
ELKİN started the event by talking about the scope and importance of the Sustainable College Reunion Event. ELKİN talked about the importance of the graduates of the Department of Child Development sharing their professional experiences with students and asked the graduates where and in which institutions they currently work. Graduate students explained where they worked and what positions they held in their institutions. Participating students were informed that the internships they did in hospitals, pre-school education institutions, special education and rehabilitation centers would play a very important role in deciding which field they would choose in the future.
Students learned about current trends, challenges and success stories in the industry by listening to the professional experiences of graduates. At the same time, graduates contributed to the professional development of students by giving them tips about their careers.
The event ended by answering the students' questions.
