Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, is organizing a blood donation event to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and strengthen social solidarity.

Under the slogan “You Can Change a Life,” the event will provide students and university staff with an opportunity to donate blood and contribute to saving lives.

Event Dates and Locations:

• October 13–14, 2026: IGU J Block Tower

• October 14, 2026: G Block, Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School

• October 14, 2026: C Block, Vocational School of Health Services

Event Time: 09:30–17:30

Students who donate blood during the event will receive a complimentary backpack.

Istanbul Gelisim University invites everyone who wishes to contribute to saving lives and raising public awareness about blood donation to participate in the event.
