In his talk, Dr. Karsan emphasized that stuttering is not merely a fluency disorder but a multidimensional condition that affects an individual’s psychological resilience, emotional processes, and social life. Highlighting the significant role of psychological resilience in the management of stuttering, he provided detailed information about the core principles of the R2 Program, its therapeutic framework, and clinical practice examples.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn from an expert about the R2 Program and the importance of temperament characteristics in stuttering. In the question-and-answer session, various questions regarding clinical applications were addressed.
