Ceren Yaman, a second-year student and class representative in our Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Youth Commission of the Sports Physiotherapists Association. In the previous term, Yaman held the position of University Representative within the association.
The Sports Physiotherapists Association is a national professional organization that conducts studies and projects focused on sports injuries and sports-specific physiotherapy practices.
The Youth Commission aims to strengthen the connection between student members and the association, promote participation in training and field activities, and support their involvement in ongoing projects.
As a member of the Executive Board, Yaman will contribute to the association’s decision-making processes and play an active role in communication between students and the association.
Her previous experience as a university representative will serve as valuable preparation for this new position.
Yaman’s new role will further strengthen the collaboration between our university and the Sports Physiotherapists Association.
In the upcoming term, seminars, fieldwork opportunities, and training programs aimed at students are planned to be developed and implemented.
As the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, we sincerely congratulate our student Ceren Yaman and wish her continued success in this important role.
We hope that participation in such national-level initiatives representing our university will continue to increase.
