 We Attended the 1st Atlas Occupational Therapy Symposium Themed Early Intervention


As the Department of Occupational Therapy, we participated in the "I. Atlas Occupational Therapy Symposium" held on May 24, 2024. This year's symposium, themed "Early Intervention," was highly productive with the contributions of many experts and professionals in the field. Presentations and discussions on how occupational therapy can enhance individuals' quality of life through early intervention strategies provided attendees with new perspectives. Additionally, current research findings and practical examples were shared, significantly contributing to professional knowledge.

Asst. Prof. Çağıl Ertürk from our Department of Occupational Therapy chaired a session at the "I. Atlas Occupational Therapy Symposium" focused on early intervention. In the opening speech, Asst. Prof. Ertürk emphasized the importance of early intervention, discussing current developments and practices in this field. Asst. Prof. Ertürk facilitated the session, guiding expert speakers' presentations and ensuring productive and interactive discussions.

Throughout the symposium, various workshops and interactive sessions were organized to enhance the effectiveness of early intervention methods and raise public awareness. As the Department of Occupational Therapy, we aim to utilize the knowledge gained from the symposium to make more effective interventions both academically and practically. This early intervention-themed event marked a significant step towards contributing to the professional development of occupational therapists and improving the quality of services provided to the community.
