Our Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Hüsniye Merve Demirer, Attended the International iCure Stroke Congress

Asst. Prof. Hüsniye Merve DEMİRER, Head of the Department of Occupational Therapy, attended the International iCure Stroke Congress, where neuroradiological approaches in the field of stroke were addressed.
During the congress, scientific sessions comprehensively covered the role of neuroradiological interventions, mechanical thrombectomy, and endovascular treatment approaches, particularly in acute stroke management. With contributions from internationally renowned experts, the importance of early intervention, the decisive role of advanced imaging techniques in clinical decision-making processes, and their impact on patient outcomes were evaluated in detail.
Through the “live case” applications organized within the congress program, neuroradiological interventions were observed in real time, demonstrating the transfer of theoretical knowledge into clinical practice through concrete examples. These live case presentations allowed for simultaneous tracking of all stages of treatment, offering participants an advanced observation and learning environment.
The Department of Occupational Therapy continues to closely follow current developments in the field by participating in international scientific events and translating the acquired scientific knowledge into academic studies and clinical practice.
