Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TPMK) announced the ranking of intellectual property studies in Turkey in 2022. Istanbul Gelisim University ranked 1st among universities in Turkey in terms of the number of patents in its portfolio. In addition, according to the patent/utility model applications published by TPMK until 31.12.2022, IGU ranked 1st among all universities in "Artificial Intelligence and Food Technologies".
