All faculty members of the department participated in the program. In her opening remarks, Head of Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Nurten ELKİN congratulated the students and wished them a healthy and successful academic year. Following this, Vice Head of Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Havva SAĞLAM delivered a presentation, sharing information about the university’s student-centered vision as well as the academic opportunities offered by the university and the department. She also provided details regarding the curriculum, course plan, social activities, regulations, internship opportunities, Erasmus, double major and minor programs, student advising, and campus life.
The orientation program concluded with a Q&A session where students’ questions about the university and the department were answered.
