“The Role of Child Development in Child-Focused Family Counseling”
The online event titled "The Role of Child Development in Child-Oriented Family Counseling" was hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Health Sciences Child Development English Department.
Activity Head of Child Development English Department It was held on 07.04.2023 under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Ebru KOLSAL and with the participation of the speaker Child Development Specialist Emine ERGÜN. The online event started with Kolsal sharing Ergün's CV. Ergün, who has a Child Development Center in Ankara, conveyed his experiences in the clinic from a child development perspective and emphasized the importance of first communication with the family. In his speech, Ergün touched upon the points to be considered in communication with the child, and the role of the child developer in the family counseling process. Ergün, who advised our students to improve themselves during their education period, gave suggestions to students who want to open a Child Development Center after graduation.
Answering students' questions, Speaker Emine ERGÜN, Moderator Prof. Dr. Ebru KOLSAL, and Res. See. The event came to an end with the closing speeches of Hatice Zelal BİNGÖL.
