Double Major and Minor
In line with the opportunities provided by Istanbul Gelisim University, our students who successfully carry out their major undergraduate programs can obtain a second degree in a second branch if they wish.
Thus, our students are offered the opportunity to double major simultaneously. At the same time, students who successfully carry out their major undergraduate programs can also obtain a minor certificate in a second undergraduate branch if they wish.
The purpose of the double major program is to enable students who successfully carry out their major programs to receive a free diploma in a second branch at the same time. Students who have a grade point average of 2.72 out of 4.00 in their major program and who are in the 20% success rate in their undergraduate / associate degree program can start the second major diploma program free of charge.
Erasmus Study and Internship Mobility
Istanbul Gelisim University students can also benefit from Erasmus Learning and Internship Mobility within institutions located in one of the European Union member countries. A bilateral agreement has been made between Politécnico De Porto University and our institution within the scope of Erasmus+ for our department.
Within the scope of the Erasmus Program, our university has cooperation with over 100 universities abroad. Students can also participate in Erasmus internship activity in private or public institutions and businesses and education and research centers. While carrying out the Erasmus program, it is aimed to increase the quality of education of the students, to develop their tolerance towards different cultures and lifestyles, and to raise qualified students.
