Preference and Information Days Have Begun: Meeting Future Audiologists
Following the announcement of the YKS results, Istanbul Gelisim University continues to host prospective students on campus during the preference marathon. As part of the Preference and Promotion Days, the Audiology Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences is meeting with future audiologists to introduce the educational and career opportunities offered by the department.
During the University Preference Days, prospective students and their families have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the academic staff of the Audiology Department to gain comprehensive information about the education program, practical courses, laboratory facilities, clinical practices, internship processes, Erasmus+ exchange programs, and career opportunities after graduation. Additionally, they can closely familiarize themselves with the department's laboratories and campus life, directly getting answers to their questions.
Istanbul Gelisim University Audiology Department aims to train their students as competent health professionals in the field of hearing and balance health, in line with its educational approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical training. Students have the opportunity to practice in laboratories equipped with the latest technologies throughout their education, gaining professional experience through clinical applications conducted in various healthcare institutions. Our graduates have the opportunity to work in public and private hospitals, hearing aid application centers, special education and rehabilitation centers, and academic institutions, while also being able to continue their postgraduate education. Additionally, candidates can closely examine our modern educational infrastructure and application laboratories by touring our campus. Istanbul Gelisim University has a strong infrastructure supporting applied education, with 150 laboratories and 22 research centers serving different disciplines.
