Audiology Department Graduates Gathered at the Graduate Education and Academic Career


Event The Audiology Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University organized the "Graduate Education and Academic Career in Audiology" event for its graduates.


The opening speech of the event was delivered by Assist. Prof. Rahmiye Nur AKTAN YILMAZ, Head of the Audiology Department at Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Health Sciences. In the opening speech, the importance of academic development and postgraduate education in the field of audiology for professional specialization was emphasized, and suggestions were made for graduates regarding their academic career journeys. As part of the event, comprehensive information was provided to graduates aiming for an academic career in the field of audiology regarding postgraduate education processes, academic career planning, and academic development opportunities.

The event addressed the topics that participants were curious about regarding the academic career process and emphasized the contributions of graduate education to academic and professional development.In the talks conducted by Prof. İzzet GÜMÜŞ, Director of the Graduate School of Istanbul Gelisim University, and Assist. Prof. Anıl ÇETİN, detailed information was shared about the Audiology Master's Program with a Thesis offered at Istanbul Gelisim University. Participants were informed about the program's educational structure, the graduate education process, and the opportunities it offers in terms of academic development.

The event also addressed the role of master's education in the field of audiology in conducting scientific research, enhancing academic knowledge, and the specialization process, while also evaluating the paths that graduates aiming for an academic career can follow.

Continuing with a question-and-answer session where participants' questions were answered, the event aimed to raise awareness among audiology graduates about academic career opportunities and to contribute to shaping their roadmaps for postgraduate education processes.
