Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is a vital healthcare discipline that focuses on individuals’ functional independence, quality of life, and public health, while continuously evolving in line with scientific advancements. As the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Gelisim University, our primary vision is to educate physiotherapists who are highly competent in their profession, committed to ethical principles, innovative, and conscious of their social responsibilities.

Our aim is not only to graduate qualified practitioners, but also to cultivate leading healthcare professionals who generate scientific knowledge, shape the future of the profession through a research-oriented perspective, and create value for society. In line with this objective, we support our curriculum—which integrates theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training—through scientific research, academic projects, and national and international collaborations.
