Child Development Department Students Celebrate Their Graduation
Istanbul Gelisim University’s 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall at 10:00 a.m. Students graduating from all faculties and graduate programs of the university attended the ceremony, where students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development also experienced the excitement of graduation.
The ceremony, which was attended by academic and administrative staff as well as a large number of students’ families, began with a speech by Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University. Gayretli congratulated the graduates and expressed his hope that they would make the best use of the knowledge and experience they had gained throughout their education in their professional lives. He also emphasized that the university, together with its students and graduates, forms one large family.
Following his speech, Istanbul Gelisim University Rector Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp addressed the graduates and their families. Prof. Dr. Ilıcak Aydınalp emphasized that graduation represents a new beginning for students and wished the graduates success in their professional and personal lives.
During the ceremony, the graduates experienced the happiness of being rewarded for the effort and dedication they had demonstrated throughout their education. As part of the program, graduation speeches were delivered, certificates of achievement were presented to the highest-ranking students, and the graduates were invited to the stage.
The graduates of the Department of Child Development entered a new stage of their lives, ready to contribute to supporting children’s development through their professional knowledge and skills. The students received their graduation certificates and shared the pride of successfully completing their academic journey with their families, academics, and friends.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates throwing their caps into the air together, followed by commemorative photo sessions.
