The orientation event began with the attendance of Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, Vice Rector S. Arda Öztürkcan, and Vice Rector Necmettin Maraşlı, and with the opening speech delivered by Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin.
Following the opening speech, our Faculty Vice Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yüksel Barut, addressed the students. Dr. Barut shared his best wishes for the new academic year and wished the students success in both academic and social life. After Dr. Barut’s remarks, the faculty’s department heads met with the students.

The department heads introduced themselves and their programs, and they expressed their wishes for the students to make a strong start in their academic journey.
As part of the program, students were informed about the faculty’s academic procedures, campus facilities, and social activities. The event served as an important step for students to become familiar with university culture and adapt to the faculty.
The IGU Faculty of Health Sciences 2025–2026 Academic Year Orientation Program provided informative sessions and inspiring speeches, marking a fruitful start for the students.
