1. Occupational Therapy And Physiotherapy Academic Farewell Day
An Academic Farewell Day was organized for 4. grade students on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, by Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Departments(Turkish and English).

The program was followed by a moment of silence, the National Anthem, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Rıfat MUTUŞ's opening speech started.
Guest speaker Occupational Therapist Emre SAVAŞ gave his speech on "The Effects of Sensory Integration Therapy on Brain Development".
The presentation and exhibition of the posters prepared by the 4th-grade Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Turkish-English Department students took place in the foyer area. Posters were evaluated by Prof. Arif ÖNDER and Assist. Prof. Berrak DUMLUPINAR.
The second guest speaker is MSc. Physiotherapist Ezgi Övünç GÜÇLÜER made an enlightening presentation on “Lymphedema Treatment and Therapy Processes”.The last guest speaker was Occupational Therapist Bilge KAVALCI gave her speech on “Occupational Therapy and Nutritional Problems”. The speaker also informed our students about the identity of the Occupational Therapy Association Representative.
A surprise was prepared for our students with video shows of the students of the Turkish-English Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Afterwards, the poster award ceremony was held. The best 3rd, 2nd and 1st Posters were awarded.
As the 4th grade students of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Department, the "Gonyometer Handover" ceremony was held for the 3rd grade students. Then, our 4th grade students were invited to the stage and the gifts prepared by the 3rd grade students were presented.
Finally, Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Abdullah Yüksel BARUT gave a farewell speech to all our students, especially their senior year, with advice that will shed light on their professional lives. Afterward, the event ended with a photo shoot that took place when all the lecturers and students were invited to the stage.
