The APSİS evaluation process is based on a comprehensive model covering six main categories: publications and citations, projects, patents and designs, awards and memberships, scientific and professional activities, and educational contributions. This system aims to assess academic productivity both quantitatively and qualitatively through objective criteria.
The 2024 Academic Performance Awards ceremony was held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Istanbul Gelişim University’s Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. Following a reception at 2:00 p.m., the official ceremony began at 2:30 p.m. During the event, certificates were presented to the top 100 ranked faculty members, while the top 20 were additionally recognized with Incentive Awards.
Mehmet KARTAL’s academic achievements—reflected in his scientific publications, active participation in academic events, and contributions to education—are a significant source of pride for the Department of Perfusion. His placement in the rankings not only highlights his individual accomplishments but also enhances the academic standing of our department.
