A Congress Achievement from Our Perfusion Department Faculty Member Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN

Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN, faculty member of the Perfusion Department at Istanbul Gelisim University, successfully represented the department with her oral presentation titled “Mechanical Effects of the Roller Pump on Head Lines” at the 4th Uskudar Perfusion Congress held between May 1–3, 2026.

Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN, a faculty member of the Department of Perfusion at İstanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Health Sciences, successfully represented our department at the 4th Üsküdar Perfusion Congress, held between 1–3 May 2026 and hosted by Üsküdar University.
The congress brought together students, academics, and sector professionals, providing an important scientific platform where current developments, clinical experiences, and technological innovations in the field of perfusion were discussed.
Within the scope of the congress, Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN delivered her oral presentation titled “Mechanical Effects of the Roller Pump on Pump Head Lines.” In her presentation, she addressed particle exposure, an increasingly important issue in terms of clinical safety during extracorporeal circulation processes. The mechanical effects of the roller pump on pump head line materials and their relationship with particle formation were evaluated in light of current scientific evidence.
As a result of the scientific evaluation process, Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN ranked first in the main award list with her presentation and was awarded a one-day ECMO Simulation Course. This achievement once again highlighted the scientific productivity of our Perfusion Department, its research focus on clinically relevant issues, and its strong academic representation in the field.
As the Department of Perfusion at İstanbul Gelişim University, we sincerely congratulate Research Assistant Sıdıka ADIYAMAN on this valuable achievement and wish her continued success in her future scientific studies.
