The “Career Talks with Graduates III” event, organized by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University, was held on May 21, 2026, in Meeting Room B Block 026. Moderated by Assoc. Prof. H. Merve Bayram, the event brought together department graduate Dietitian Ebru Doğru İn and students to share her career journey and professional experiences abroad.
During the event, global career opportunities available to nutrition and dietetics graduates were discussed. Dietitian Ebru Doğru İn shared her experiences from her academic background to her transition into an international career, providing students with valuable insights into practicing the profession abroad. The program also addressed international certification processes, registration and equivalency requirements in different countries, differences between healthcare systems, and global dietetic practices.
The event, which attracted great interest from students, also emphasized the importance of language proficiency, intercultural competencies, and professional networking for nutrition and dietetics students aiming for a global career. In the interactive session, students had the opportunity to ask questions about working abroad and international professional standards.
At the end of the program, Assoc. Prof. H. Merve Bayram thanked Dietitian Ebru Doğru İn for her contributions and closed the event. The “Career Talks with Graduates III” event served as an inspiring and guiding meeting for students to learn more about international career opportunities and benefit from graduate experiences.
