Nutrition Principles and Applications Laboratory
Nutrition Principles and Applications Laboratory was established to conduct practical applications for both fundamental courses, such as Principles and Practices of Nutrition I and II, and other professional courses. This laboratory is used to provide students with knowledge and skills related to the content of food, appropriate preparation and cooking methods, the losses and physical-chemical changes that occur during preparation and cooking, and the application of some basic and traditional recipes based on nutritional principles. Additionally, students discuss the energy, macro, and micro-nutrient values of these recipes. Principles of Nutrition Laboratory is equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment for practical applications, including 8 home-type stoves across 10 units, 7 ovens, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, and various kitchen utensils.
