Two different studies presented at the congress reinforced the effectiveness of the Department of Nursing in the academic field and its representation power at the international level. The first presentation was titled “The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Nursing” and was prepared by Helin Şeyda Düz, Cafer Sadık Gökalp, Buğra Genç and Berke Yalçın. In the presentation, the importance of emotional intelligence in nursing practices, its effect on patient and team communication and its role in increasing professional success were discussed. The oral presentation of this study was made by Helin Şeyda Düz on behalf of the group.
The second presentation was "Therapeutic Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: New Horizons in Nursing Care". This study, prepared by Yunus Erdoğan, Yasemin Acar and Tufan Güdük, examined the effects of technological developments on nursing communication and discussed how therapeutic communication has been transformed in the digital age. The presentation was successfully delivered by Yunus Erdoğan on behalf of the group.
Both studies were welcomed with interest by the congress participants and the academic presentation skills of the students were appreciated. We congratulate our students for successfully representing our university on an international platform and wish them sustainable success in their scientific studies.
