Orientation Program Held by the Department of Health Management at Istanbul Gelisim University

During the presentation delivered by Asst. Prof. Aslı KAYA, Head of the Department of Health Management, students were provided with general information about Istanbul Gelisim University and the Faculty of Health Sciences, the educational structure of the Department of Health Management, the department’s aims and objectives, post-graduation career opportunities, and practical training and internship opportunities. In addition, the curriculum, elective courses, micro-credential programs, academic advising system, and various university opportunities available to students were introduced. 

Asst. Prof. Turgay KARALINÇ, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Asst. Prof. Bumin Cagatay AKSU, faculty member of the Department of Health Management, also contributed to the orientation program. Students were provided with important information regarding academic processes, the academic advising system, professional development, internships and fieldwork, as well as university life. During the program, students’ questions were answered, and information was also provided about TUBITAK 2209-A, Erasmus+ opportunities, student clubs, and various support and development opportunities offered by the university. 

The orientation program, which brought together students from the Department of Health Management, concluded with a group commemorative photograph featuring first-, second-, third-, and fourth-year students.
