Message of the Departmental Chair

In the 21st century, the extension of life expectancy, the diversification of demand for healthcare services, and advancements in health technologies have increased the strategic importance of the healthcare sector. In Türkiye, the healthcare sector is also projected to become one of the high value–added fields alongside tourism. The success of the sector largely depends on the quality of healthcare services and the qualified human resources responsible for managing these services. In this context, graduates of healthcare management play a decisive role in the development of both healthcare institutions and the sector by taking part in the managerial processes of healthcare organizations.

The Department of Healthcare Management at Istanbul Gelisim University aims to educate healthcare managers equipped with competencies such as communication, leadership, team management, analytical thinking, and openness to innovation.
