At the opening of the ceremony, the symposium’s founders and organizers, Prof. Dr. İsmet Galip YOLCUOĞLU and Asst. Prof. Emrah TÜNCER, shared with the participants how the idea of the symposium was born. Both academics emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary work and events like this in contributing to the intellectual development of students, highlighting how young academics can gain broader perspectives through knowledge acquired from different fields.
At the symposium, plaques were awarded to the first-place students of the Social Work Department in 2024 and the first-place students of the Health Management Department in 2025. The students, who were honored with these awards, proudly celebrated their achievements, while attendees warmly appreciated the young generation’s interest and determination in interdisciplinary projects.
Asst. Prof. Emrah TÜNCER, in his speech, stated, “These symposiums are not only platforms for knowledge sharing but also important venues that help our students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills across different disciplines.” He also extended his gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the symposium.
The ceremony concluded with celebrations and photo sessions. The Faculty of Health Sciences plans to continue organizing similar events in the future to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and support the development of young academics.
We congratulate all our students who have made our faculty proud and wish them continued success in their academic journeys.
