The congress chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurperihan TOSUN, and Prof. Dr. Sedat BOSTAN, who pioneered the initiation of this congress series and was the congress co-chair, and the USSAM team, and Prof. Dr. Ramazan ERDEM, who managed the scientific process as the congress co-chair, as well as Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Selçuk University, Süleyman Demirel University, Kayseri University, Sakarya University, Üsküdar University, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Georgia State University and the Patient Rights and Healthy Life Association (HSK-SAY), which operates as a science center, supported the congress.
Assistant Professor Aslı KAYA, Assistant Professor Ömer Faruk ŞARKBAY and Assistant Professor Murat BAŞAL from Istanbul Gelişim University (İGU) Department of Health Management participated in the congress with their joint study titled “Innovative Approaches in Health Tourism Management and the Effect of Marketing Innovation in Researching Patient Satisfaction in Global Competition”. Participants had the opportunity to interact with each other across disciplines through different sessions and contributed to their academic development by establishing new collaborations. In addition, thanks to the panels and workshops organized within the scope of the congress, current health management approaches and solution proposals for organizational problems in health services were discussed.
The social program of the congress, which turned into a science festival with valuable academicians and presentations, included a Sivas-Divriği trip; Sivas province as the center, Divriği, Sivas Ulu Mosque, Glass Terrace Trip, Hüma Hatun Street and Diyarbakır-Elazığ-Tunceli Trip.
