The National Management and Organization Congress, which was first organized in 1993 jointly by Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration and Boğaziçi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was hosted by Giresun University in 2024. The Management and Organization Congress, one of Türkiye's leading academic events, was held this year on 22-24 May 2025, hosted by Elazığ Fırat University.
This congress, where original academic studies in the fields of management science, organization theories, strategic management, human resources, leadership and entrepreneurship were shared, brought together leading academicians, researchers and practitioners in the field. Asst. Prof. Turgay KARALİNÇ and Asst. Prof. Bumin Çağatay AKSU from the Department of Health Management at Istanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ) participated in the congress with their joint study titled “The Role of Subjective Well-being and Self-Sufficiency Perception in the Effect of Job Crafting on Job Satisfaction”.
Participants had the opportunity to interact with each other across disciplines through different sessions, and contributed to their academic development by establishing new collaborations. In addition, current management approaches and solutions to organizational problems were discussed through panels and workshops organized within the scope of the congress.
On the third day of the congress, which turned into a science festival with valuable academicians and presentations on 22-23 May 2025, a Harput trip, a Castle and museum trip, a Dam Lake tour and a Pertek Castle trip were organized within the scope of the congress social program.
