The conference was held online between 18–20 September 2025, hosted by Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The chairmanship of the conference was undertaken by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet GÜNER and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin KORKMAZ from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.
As an international academic platform that has been strengthening its impact since 2013, ICAFR aims to bring together scholars from the fields of accounting and finance to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise. A total of 58 abstracts were accepted to the conference, with participation from 100 academics in Türkiye. The event welcomed studies from all areas of accounting and finance. In addition, considering recent developments affecting these disciplines, the main theme of ICAFR’25 was determined as:
“Accounting and Finance in the Turkic World: Common Wisdom, Strong Solidarity, and a Strengthened Future.”
In line with this theme, the conference focused on the effects of recent transformations in accounting and finance, their possible future implications, and the integration of new technologies into these fields. The valuable contributions of distinguished scholars were highlighted as crucial for the accumulation and advancement of scientific knowledge.
