Child Development Department Graduates Receive Their Diplomas
Istanbul Gelisim University’s 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall at 10:00 a.m. Students graduating from the university’s faculties and graduate programs came together at the ceremony, where students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development (English) also experienced the pride of graduation.
The ceremony, attended by academic and administrative staff as well as the graduates’ families, began with a speech by Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University. Gayretli congratulated the graduates and expressed his hope that the knowledge and experience they had gained during their university education would guide them throughout their professional lives.
The program continued with a speech by Istanbul Gelisim University Rector Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp. Prof. Dr. Ilıcak Aydınalp stated that graduation signifies not only the completion of an educational process but also the beginning of professional life and new responsibilities, and she conveyed her best wishes to all graduates.
As part of the ceremony, certificates of achievement were presented to the highest-ranking students, while the graduates were invited to the stage to receive their graduation certificates. Graduates of the Department of Child Development (English) shared the happiness of successfully completing their education with their academics, friends, and families.
The graduates, prepared to use the professional knowledge and skills they had acquired through an internationally oriented education to support children’s development, took an important step toward their professional lives.
The graduation ceremony concluded with the students enthusiastically throwing their caps into the air and taking commemorative photographs.
